Five bold predictions for Miami Dolphins in Week 17

The Miami Dolphins did. They’ve managed to play a full 16-game schedule and every football game this season counts not only in the record books, but in the biggest scheme of things – a playoff chance in an effort to make some noise. The Miami Dolphins are a lot of things: they’re young, they’re hungry, they’re rebuilding themselves, and most importantly, they’re relevant. This is no small feat for a team that 18 months ago were considered one of the worst teams in recent memory.

No matter what is happening today in Buffalo, the Miami Dolphins should be proud of their 2020 campaign. And Dolphins fans around the world should be excited about the future. But with all of that said, there is a football game to be won today.

The Dolphins are in western New York for a clash with the Buffalo Bills to close out a full season of relevance. What madness could we see? Here are our five bold predictions for dolphins in week 17:

Dolphins rush for more than 100 team yards for third game in a row

The last time the Miami Dolphins played three straight football games and managed to scratch over 100 yards in each was a 4-game streak in 2018 (Weeks 5-8). To say that consistency in the running game has been problematic for the Dolphins would be an understatement, but nonetheless, the momentum is playing in Miami’s favor here. We went on the record last week to boldly predict Miami would record over 150 yards against the Raiders – we were wrong but not by much… the Dolphins ran 130 in their third best ground performance of the season as a team.

It’s also their fourth time in five games and their fifth in seven to surpass the milestone of the century – let’s build on that again.
