‘Bachelor’ franchise star Carly Waddell opens up about her split from husband Evan Bass

Carly Waddell wanted to set the record straight about her divorce from her husband Evan Bass after three years of marriage.

The former “Bachelor in Paradise”, 35, addressed the rumors in a YouTube video posted on Sunday.

“I call it the divorce room because that’s where Evan told me he wanted a divorce. He was sitting right where I’m sitting,” she explained in the video, which presented her new home which she bought in October.

The couple share two children, son Charlie, 1, and daughter Bella, 2.

Waddell said they separated the day after Thanksgiving and before that they had “been in therapy for years.”

“We have tried for a very long time to make it work,” she explained. “We focused a lot more on the kids than on ourselves and ultimately I think that was probably our biggest fall. The kids got to the top of the pyramid and we never got to the top.”

“The last two years have been really tough,” the TV personality continued. “I always told him if he wanted to go out that was his call because I’m just a person who would never go out. Waddell and Bass, who met on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2016, announced their split on December 23.
