Olivia Wilde’s latest Instagram post was trolled by Harry Styles fanatics just days after the couple confirmed their romance to the marriage of his agent during the weekend.
The actress, 36, took to Instagram earlier this month with a funny New Years meme from rock band Ramones, but was inundated with criticism of her relationship with the 26-year-old musician, with who he’s working on the movie she’s directing, Don ‘t Worry Darling.
Some of the One Direction star’s supporters have claimed the mother-of-two ‘stole’ them and criticized their decision to switch from coworkers to lovers, while others defended their romance and called the hate “ embarrassing ”.

Screen star Olivia’s post read: “ 2020, 24 Hours Ahead ” – a fun twist on Ramones’ 1978 hit song I Wanna Be Sedated.
Despite efforts by the filmmakers to infuse humor earlier this year, a few social media users took the opportunity to lash out at her for dating singer Harry.
One cruelly questioned the professionalism of Olivia’s psychological horror film, which sees her new beau step into the lead role of Jack, who hides a dark secret from his wife Alice (Florence Pugh).
He reprized the role of Shia LaBeouf as the interested Florence lover in September of last year, and it is his first on-screen role since the 2017 film Dunkirk.

Another troll has ridiculed Harry’s past relationships, as well as the New Yorker’s nine-year romance with Wilde Jason Sudeikis, with whom she shares her son Otis, six, and daughter Daisy, four.

They said: ‘I know Harry has a soft spot for older women, not a mum with 2 babies … YOU SHOULD BE MEN FOR WHAT YOU DO … MEET A BOY THAT WORKS FOR YOU! (sic)
However, a legion of loyal fans of the songwriter have urged naysayers to stop writing negative comments on Olivia’s page, especially after Harry recently posted the clip for his track Treat People with Kindness. (TPWK).
Treat People with Kindness is a slogan the media personality first used to promote love and acceptance on her first concert tour in 2017.
Fans wrote: ‘It’s clear some of you in the comments forgot to TREAT PEOPLE KIND !!!! On behalf of the SANE Harry Stan’s, I’m sorry and it’s embarrassing.
Support: Others have defended the new couple, called the hatred ’embarrassing’ and said their remarks did not reflect the artist’s loyal fan base.

Their appearance marks the actress’ first public relationship since her split from engaged actor Jason, 45, in early 2020.
The happy photos came amid claims that James Corden helped keep close friend Harry and Olivia’s ‘romance’ a secret after allowing the artist to stay at home while filming Don’t Worry Darling in Palm Springs, California.
A source told Page Six: ‘This relationship between Harry and Olivia is very new. Olivia was directing Harry in the film in Palm Springs, and there were literally 10 people on set, as they were strictly following COVID rules.
“ Harry had stayed at James Corden’s near Palm Springs during the filming, so they were able to be alone and keep their relationship very private.
“So everyone was really surprised – and rather delighted – when Harry brought Olivia as his date to the wedding and introduced her as his girlfriend.”
The source added that Harry was not giving an ‘f ** k *’ about the 10-year age gap and was ‘openly holding hands and kissing Olivia’. Representatives for Olivia, Harry and James have been contacted for comment.
