Goldberg is back on WWE TV, and not only does it look like he’ll be challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship in the second biggest pay-per-view of the year, Royal rumble. His deal requires a few matches a year, and it makes sense to leverage his star power in big-ticket matches against the top stars.
Having said that, I’m not sure the way to use it is to have it cut promos on things McIntyre never said. Or even have him cut specials at all.
Goldberg was always at his best when confronted with great men and very impressively hit those great men with his Jackhammer brand. Or throw them across the ring. Or just throwing them all around the ring in a way they’ve never been thrown before.
This has always been his main draw, as evidenced by the video above where he walks through a bunch of big guys. McIntyre is a big guy too, and I can’t wait for Goldberg to try and find him for the Jackhammer.
Assuming he can still do it.
