Taylor Swift is so proud of her ‘baby’ Olivia Rodrigo for her ‘driver’s license’

And then Swift herself commented on Rodrigo’s post: “I say it’s my baby and I’m really proud.” (Word choice is a phrase often used on memes created by Swifties quoting Swift’s own mother, Andrea, from an old interview clip.)

“What’s breathing,” Rodrigo added in another post, an adorable reaction to Swift’s comment.

Swift’s words of encouragement show that she’s had Rodrigo on her radar for at least a few weeks. Her comment appears to be a nod to another post from the singer’s “Drivers License” account: On Swift’s December 13, Rodrigo celebrated with a photo of the pop star holding numerous Grammys and the note “Happy Birthday. mom”.
