  • Honor introduced the Band 6 fitness tracker with a massive 1.47-inch display that rivals smartwatches.
  • You can also expect pillars like a heart rate sensor, blood oxygen monitoring, sleep tracking, and menstrual tools.
  • It will cost around $ 35.

How do you stand out in a crowded field of fitness equipment? By providing a screen that could make your smartwatch look small. The newly independent Honor introduced a Band 6 fitness tracker whose centerpiece is a 1.47-inch AMOLED display – for context, even the company’s Watch GS Pro has a smaller screen. You won’t have to squint at your stats in the middle of a race.

You’ll also see a host of activity and health features that you’d expect Honor to bring with a fitness tracker. The Band 6 contains a heart rate sensor and blood oxygen monitoring. You can also track sleep, stress levels, and menstrual cycles. The device supports 10 types of workout and it will automatically detect six in case you forget to start an activity.

Like many fitness trackers, the Honor Band 6 is designed to last for up to 14 days of “typical” use (10 days under more heavy use) and 5ATM water resistance suitable for swimming.

Honor did not discuss availability beyond a promise the Band 6 would launch “soon,” but said it expects a price tag of around $ 35 in countries where the device will ship. In other words, Honor’s laptop is expected to be very competitive with fitness trackers from Xiaomi and other big rivals.
