The 70 films released by Netflix in 2021

Not all Netflix movies are total gems (Hillbilly Elegy anyone?), But at least there will be plenty to keep us entertained. Netflix has dropped a list of 70 films it will release once a week in 2021. But look more, because that’s just the list announced so far.

Netflix also kicked off a sizzle reel teasing some of the biggest movies on the list, including the comedic thriller Red Notice, starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot. Chris Hemsworth swings his extraction guns again for Netflix in Escape from Spiderhead, a sci-fi about two prisoners who participate in a new drug test in exchange for shortened prison terms.

A few more to watch out for: Amy Poehler’s high school comedy drama Moxie, Zack Snyder’s zombie heist movie Army of the Dead, and the political satire movie Don’t Look Up, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence. Let’s go, 2021!
