[ad_1]

Genshin Impact was one of the best games of 2020, be it on console, PC or mobile, and we received version 1.2 as an early Christmas present to get Albedo and the Dragonspine region. Now the second part of the version is happening with the arrival of Ganyu, but some people are looking to the future and therefore want to know when the update 1.3 will be released. Here you’ll find everything we know about the update 1.3 release date for Genshin Impact, as well as the new character banners that have been leaked.

Before version 1.2 ends and its follow-up next month, players should be aware that a Lost Riches event with Iron Coins is available until January 18. This event offers players the chance to get a Mini Seelie pet as a companion, so you won’t want to miss out if you want a pink, blue, or gold circle to follow you.

While the Mini Seelie animal is available for a limited time, below you’ll find everything we know about the Genshin Impact update 1.3 release date, as well as the new character banners that have been leaked.

Genshin Impact Update 1.3 new characters

One of the new characters and banners in Genshin Impact update 1.3 that was leaked is Xiao.

In addition to Xiao, another of the new characters and banners in Genshin Impact update 1.3 would be Hu Tao.

It is important to note that none of these banners have been confirmed by miHoYo.

What we do know about Update 1.3 is that it will be accompanied by an event called Lantern Rite. Nothing else has been confirmed other than a release window, but the prospect of Xiao and Hu Tao has fans excited.

Xiao was a playable character in the closed beta of the game, while Hu Tao got fans excited because of his lost skills and famous Japanese actress.

When is Genshin Impact update 1.3 released?

There is no release date for Genshin Impact Update 1.3 other than February.

However, it’s possible that Genshin Impact Update 1.3 release date will be February 3.

Indeed, version 1.1 was released on November 11 with version 1.2 on December 23, and those two days were Wednesdays.

Additionally, miHoYo’s roadmap plans – for the first three fixes at least – are to update the game every six weeks, and February 3 is six weeks from December 23. However, it could take seven weeks like version 1.2, so the date could be February 10th instead.

Again, the above is by no means official as the only confirmation we have from miHoYo is that the third release is slated for February.

However, the Ganyu Banner is expected to end on the 2nd of next month, so Update 1.3 shouldn’t be too far away.
