New York City is terminating its contracts with the Trump organization due to the mob riot at the U.S. Capitol, Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Wednesday.
The contracts are for two rinks in Central Park, the Central Park Carousel and the Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point, a city-owned golf course in the Bronx.
Mr de Blasio said he was ending the relationship because President Trump had instigated violence.
“Inciting an insurgency against the US government is clearly criminal activity,” de Blasio said in an MSNBC interview on Wednesday. “New York City will no longer have anything to do with the Trump organization.”
