The Chicago Bears have confirmed general manager Ryan Pace and coach Matt Nagy will return for the 2021 campaign.

McCaskey noted that neither Pace nor Nagy got contract extensions. Pace is entering the last year of his contract. McCaskey said any potential contract negotiations would be “ongoing”.

The Bears fell back into the playoffs despite a six-game losing streak that any other season would have ruled them out of the playoffs. McCaskey noted that the new No.7 playoff spot instituted by the NFL this year is the only reason they made the playoffs.

Despite that feeling, Pace and Nagy will have at least one more year to get the Bears over the hump.
