The operators of a massive New York City tourist attraction have closed the structure until further notice this week following multiple suicides at the site.
The ship in Hudson Yards, in the far west of Manhattan, has been the scene of three suicide deaths since it opened last year, the most recent on Monday, the New York Times reported.
And now, operators of the 150-foot spiral staircase set will shut it down while they consult with suicide prevention experts, NBC New York reported Wednesday.
Since Wednesday evening, the structure has been listed as “currently closed” on its website.
