GTA 6 could feature a playable female protagonist according to a recent statement from Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson.
Henderson took to Twitter (as spotted by ComicBook.com) claiming that GTA 6 will have “a playable male and female protagonist.” While Henderson is known to make accurate predictions with leaks into the world of Call of Duty, it’s best to take this claim with a pinch of salt – especially since Henderson doesn’t cite any source for this information.

There’s been a lot of speculation about where the next installment in Rockstar’s long-running open-world crime series might take. One of the sources of much debate is whether it will follow the same setup as GTA 5 which included multiple playable protagonists that you can switch between, or allow you to choose your own protagonist.
This latest GTA 6 rumor joins a sea of other allegations that have been circulating in recent months. In November, fans started digging into a GTA Online teaser who apparently included a GTA 6 teaser. The coordinates in the trailer seemed to point to a remote location in Northwest Virginia, leading many to wonder if this could be the potential setting for the franchise’s next entry.
Rockstar has yet to officially confirm GTA’s return, and it will likely be some time before anything is revealed, but the game is believed to have been in the works for some time. For now, we can only speculate on the game, but with the release of the Xbox Series X and PS5, it has long been assumed that it will be a next-gen experience.
