In Wisconsin, however, it is legal for a person under the age of 21 to possess and consume alcohol if a parent is present.
Prosecutors are also asking the court “to prohibit the accused from publicly displaying symbols and gestures associated with violent white supremacist groups and from associating with known members of these groups, in particular the Proud Boys” – as they think it might witness bullying.
Rittenhouse has pleaded not guilty to the charges on which he was brought to justice.

Rittenhouse’s attorneys argued that Rittenhouse was acting in self-defense when he opened fire.
At a hearing last month, Rittenhouse attorney Mark Richards accused prosecutors of presenting a “one-sided and stilted view” of the events of the night.
Richards presented screenshots from surveillance video which he said showed his client had acted in self-defense while being chased by an armed protester. In another image, Rittenhouse appeared to have been hit by a skateboard while on the ground.
