Delta Airlines is cracking down on passengers who have been seen harassing Republican Senators Mitt Romney and Lindsey Graham – amid a wider range of restrictions.
On Thursday, Delta CEO Ed Bastian confirmed that passengers would be banned as part of increased security measures following last week’s violent protest on the U.S. Capitol. In separate viral videos, Delta passengers were seen harassing the two senators for speaking out against President Trump.
Delta’s decision was part of a broader security crackdown, which replaced 880 people on the “no-fly list” “for not wearing masks” or for “unruly behavior linked to the flight,” Reuters said. ‘election”.
However, some passengers say they were kicked off a Delta flight simply to support President Trump. There are reports that a man said he was forced to get off the plane for saying “Trump 2020”.

Delta CEO also noted that authorities are on high alert and remain in contact with local and federal intelligence agencies. Meanwhile, American Airlines is also applying new restrictions in response to domestic unrest.
American Airlines has said it will not serve alcoholic beverages on flights to and from airports near DC until January 21.
