AUGUSTA, Georgia – Pharmacies at two grocery chains serving CSRA are offering COVID-19 vaccinations through a partnership with the State of Georgia.
The vaccines will be available at all Kroger pharmacies in Georgia and at the Publix store in Evans at 5119 Washington Road and at the Publix in Martinez at 403 Furys Ferry Road.
Vaccines will be provided by appointment only and are intended for first responders, healthcare workers, people 65 years of age and older and their caregivers, as well as residents and staff of long-term care facilities. duration.
Vaccinations in Publix stores will be available from Saturday. Eligible people can make appointments starting Friday at publix.com/covidvaccine.
Snapshots using the Moderna vaccine are available in Kroger stores from Friday. Appointments can be made online at Kroger.com/COVIDVaccine. Additionally, Kroger is setting up a toll-free number for those who prefer to make an appointment over the phone. The number will be announced as soon as it is established.
Vaccines are provided to eligible individuals, by appointment only, while supplies last and at no cost to the individual.
Clients with health insurance will need to bring their insurance card to their appointment. Medicare members must bring their red, white, and blue Medicare Part B cards. Customers without health insurance will need to provide their driver’s license or social security number.
Local Publix stores are among 108 across the state that will carry the vaccine.
