Where is the state of Ohio in the 2020 S&P College Football Final Rankings

By all accounts, the state of Ohio has had a very successful year. Yeah, the measuring stick is about winning a Big Ten Championship (check), making the college football playoffs (check), and winning a national championship (doh), but seeing how the Buckeyes weren’t even supposed to play, we’ll all take it.

It might have been yet another special year if it hadn’t been for an absolute buzz in the state of Ohio in the Miami National Championship game against Alabama. The Bucks were shorthanded, but even with a full roster of players, OSU was highly unlikely to beat any of the best college football teams I have ever seen play in person.

That being said, the latest S&P rankings are out and we don’t have to tell you who’s # 1, who largely belongs to the Crimson Tide. However, things were much closer behind this. So where has the state of Ohio ended up when it comes to ranking a team’s strength and measuring a team’s predictive measurement going forward? Well, we’re glad you asked the question.
