UK physical chart data is now available for the week ending January 16, revealing that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still well placed at the top of the stack.
The game is now enjoying its third consecutive week at number one in the UK as Switch owners across the country take the plunge for the very first time. It has remained in the official rankings since its launch last March, and it seems increasingly likely that it will remain in the charting position for the remainder of its first year.
Animal Crossing isn’t Nintendo’s only success this week, however; Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains in second place for a second straight week, and six of the top ten are Switch exclusives. Even Just Dance 2021, one of the few titles not exclusive to the Nintendo platform, still sold the best on Switch this week.
