5 best AR loadouts for Warzone Season 1

[ad_1]

A CoD loadout is nothing without the corresponding upgrades, so here are the best perks to give you a competitive edge in any Warzone game mode.

Although Warzone is now a standalone game, it is still connected to Modern Warfare. It uses its engine, menus, motion system, and perks. In Warzone Season 1 none of the Black Ops Cold War perks can be used, so you need to equip Modern Warfare.

Here are the best perks to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1.

Advantage 1

CoD Warzone EOD Advantage

DOVE

EOD reduces explosive damage taken, making it a vital advantage in Call of Duty: Warzone. If you’re stuck in a room with players outside, expect a barrage of Semtex and Frag Grenades to come at you. If you have any hope of surviving you must have EOD equipped.

As long as you have a piece of armor left, you can survive any explosive other than a direct hit, so keep putting on plates and you’ll be invulnerable.

Double time

Double Time allows you to tactically sprint longer, as well as crouch walk faster. Mobility is the key to pushing back enemies and avoiding the closing gas circle.

Soloing you need to be the first person in the next area and Double Time will allow you to move quickly around the map without a vehicle revealing your location. The increased crouch walking speed also gives you great mobility while sneaking up on enemies.

Advantage 2

Overkill CoD Warzone Advantage

Exaggerated

Verdansk having both long lines of sight and close quarters combat, most players bring both a long range and up close weapon in their loadout. The Warzone meta following the DMR nerf is a Kar98k paired with an FFAR or MAC-10.

Use Overkill to get both guns in your first loadout for all-range efficiency, then grab either Ghost or Restock from your next loadout crate and you’ll have the best of both worlds.

Ghost

Ghost is probably the most used perk in Warzone. With drones constantly being hopped and nearly all gamers using a heart rate sensor, staying off the radar is vital.

You can sneak up on the teams and have a quick jaunt if you’re in a tough spot. Or, if you’re a construction camper (no judgment here), listen to your enemy’s rage in death chatter as you take them by surprise.

Restock

CoD Warzone Restock Advantage

Replenishment is only useful if you are an extremely confident and aggressive player. If you drive around the map eliminating the bounty goal after the bounty goal, Restock is a go-to choice. Starting a fight with a properly placed stun grenade will almost always give you death, and Restock allows you to pick up your gear every 50 seconds.

You’ll lose Ghost’s advantage, but if you’re driving enemies to take them out as quickly as possible, Ghost really won’t be needed.

Advantage 3

Amped

As Gaz said in Call of Duty 4, “switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading.” This holds true in Warzone over a decade later, and the Amped perk makes it all the more effective.

There’s nothing worse than running out of ammo and staring helplessly while you switch weapons or reload. Amped lets you swap weapons almost instantly so you can keep firing with minimal delay.

Tracker

CoD Warzone Tracker Advantage

This advantage is particularly effective in single player matches, where you will typically only be focusing on one player at a time. This perk allows you to see enemy footsteps so you know if anyone has recently been nearby. With the slowness and tactics of single player matches, you’ll be surprised how many times it saves your skin.

Best perks for Warzone solos

Warzone Solos is almost an entirely different game from Squads, where you have to quickly switch to new areas and know where enemy players are in order to survive. Here are the best perks for achieving that solo victory.

  1. Double time
  2. Ghost
  3. Tracker

Best benefits for Warzone teams (duos / trios / quads)

In Warzone quads you will be fighting multiple enemies at once, so you will need EOD to survive multiple explosions and Amped to avoid reloading in the middle of combat.

  1. DOVE
  2. Overkill then Ghost
  3. Amped

Perform these perks with meta weapons, and you will put yourself at a significant advantage in both Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
