The 2021 Call of Duty League campaign is just around the corner, but ahead of the start of the Black Ops Cold War pro season, there will be a series of exhibition matches called Kickoff Classic – here’s everything you need to know about this event. pre-season.

Ahead of their highly anticipated second season, the CDL is hosting its first-ever Launch Classic – a pre-season event that will see all 12 teams each play a single exhibition game in preparation for the regular season.
To make things even more interesting, the league has engaged with fans to host some of the high profile clashes, including OpTic Gaming vs LA Thieves and Dallas Empire vs New York Subliners.
The Kickoff Classic takes place over two days – January 23-24 – and will be played online, which will likely be the case for most, if not all, of the 2021 tournaments.
The CDL Launch Classic is a pre-season exhibition event ahead of the 2021 regular season.

CDL Kickoff Classic: Teams and players
As these are the first official CDL matches in Black Ops Cold War, there will be plenty of looks on how all of the new rosters play out. All 12 teams had to make at least one change due to the move to 4v4, with some choosing to completely reorganize their teams.
As for the clashes, these are stories galore. The first game will be OpTic Gaming vs LA Thieves – a battle between the two renowned franchises and the next chapter in the rivalry that began in Black Ops 4.
Three-time world champion Clayster, now with New York Subliners, will face defending CDL champions Dallas Empire for the first time since being removed from their roster due to the 4-to-4 change.
