Riley June Williams was stopped Monday in the Middle District of Pennsylvania, according to a listing on the Department of Justice website that tracks arrests made in connection with the siege.

Williams is accused of knowingly entering or remaining in a building or restricted land without legal authorization, as well as violent entry and disorderly conduct on the Capitol grounds.

The FBI said in a filing in court On Sunday, a witness identifying himself as a former romantic partner told the office that Williams “intended to send the computing device to a friend in Russia, who was then considering selling the device to SVR, the Russian foreign intelligence.

The transfer failed for unknown reasons, and Williams still has the computer or destroyed it.

The witness also showed FBI video of Williams apparently stealing the laptop.

Williams’ arrest is one of more than 100 arrested in connection with the riot that left five people dead, including that of Capitol Hill cop Brian Sicknick.

As rioters stormed the Capitol, Pelosi’s office was taken over. His deputy chief of staff, Drew Hammill, said after the riot that a laptop computer used for presentations was stolen. It’s still unclear if this is what laptop authorities said Williams took.
