Now that the Atlanta Falcons have Arthur Smith in place as head coach and Terry Fontenot on board as the new general manager, the team can begin to focus on a critical offseason. The big question facing the new regime is whether or not to select a quarterback with the No.4 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Matt Ryan is still a very good player, but as Fontenot mentioned during his introductory press conference, the team believe in selecting the best available player to meet the needs. The only way Atlanta could avoid having to make a decision like this would be to pull out of fourth place and try to get more picks.
