After two COVID-19-related delays, Ashanti and Keyshia Cole were finally able to film their battle of VERZUZ, which was originally scheduled for December 12. The first postponement was announced after Ashanti tested positive for the virus. The second delay was in response to the rising number of COVIDs in the country as well as recent volatile events in Washington DC Tonight, the singers finally clashed in a battle of hits. Ashanti and Cole also performed new songs. After the VERZUZ match, Ashanti released a new song called “235 (2:35 I Want You)”.
