Premiere of the CW series of Walker drew a 0.4 rating among adults aged 18 to 49 and 2.43 million viewers on Thursday, which saw the channel’s highest Thursday viewing since 2018.

The series, which begins Supernatural Former Jared Padalecki in a revival of the CBS action drama starring Chuck Norris which ran from 1993 to 2001, debuted with the most watched 8 p.m. TV broadcast on Thursday for The CW since December 2016 ( a DC’s Legends of Tomorrow episode). Last night, Walker leads into the arc of season 3 of Legacy (0.2, 717K), which increased viewership from last year’s finale by Nielsen’s Fast Live + Same Day affiliates.

ABC won the night in both demo and viewers with its line of game shows from Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (0.8, 6.09 M), which was down three tenths from last week, followed by The hunt (0.7, 4.31 M) and The Hustler (0.5, 2.66 M), both over one tenth.

CBS was back with new episodes and had the most watched show of the night in Young Sheldon (0.8, 7.15 M) which equaled Wheel in the demo. B positive (0.6, 5.04 M), Mom (0.6, 4.92 M) and The Unicorn (0.4, 3.45M) paved the way for Star Trek: Discovery (0.2, 1.75M), which climbed by a tenth with the original entries.

On Fox, Hell’s Kitchen (0.7, 2.47M) and rookie Call me Kat (0.5, 2.45 M) were stable with last week, while Last man standing (0.4, 2.54 M) plunged by a tenth. NBC’s own recruit, Mr. Mayor (0.5, 3.09 M), was also uniform, leading to immersion Hypermarket (0.4, 2.16M). Law and Order: SVU (0.6, 3.63 M) was equal to last week and Dateline (0.3, 3.00M) was down by a tenth.
