Movie buffs around the world have reveled in the trailer, which is nearly two and a half minutes long and features just about everything you could want from a confrontation between a leviathan lizard and an oversized gorilla.

“Legends will collide,” teased Warner Bros. revealing a preview of the new film, which will see “nature’s two most powerful forces clash on the big screen in a spectacular battle for the ages.”
The film, directed by Adam Wingard, stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and newcomer Kaylee Hottle as an orphan girl with a special connection to the mighty monkey.
Only an orphaned little girl can connect with Kong in the battle to save the world.

In the publicity material, Warner Bros., which like CNN is owned by AT&T (T) affiliate WarnerMedia, said: “The epic clash between the two titans – sparked by unseen forces – is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep in the Earth. “

Warner Bros. will release movies on HBO Max the same day they hit theaters

The latest offering in Warner Bros.’s MonsterVerse franchise hits theaters on March 26, but it will also be available for free for one month to HBO Max subscribers in the United States. The studio has yet to release a release date for elsewhere in the world.

In December, Warner Bros., the world’s second-largest film studio, announced plans to release all of its 2021 films at the same time they hit theaters.

WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar said in a blog post that some of the highlights included “The Little Things”, “Tom & Jerry”, “In The Heights” and “Dune”.
