Ioan Gruffudd and his wife, Alice Evans, are apparently separating after 13 years of marriage.
The 49-year-old actress revealed the news via Twitter Monday night, to write how the Welsh actor, 47, left his family.
“Sad news. My alleged 20-year-old husband / soulmate Ioan Gruffudd has announced that he will be leaving his family, starting next week,” she wrote in the since-deleted tweet according to Page Six.
“Me and our young girls, we are very confused and sad,” revealed Evans, quoted by the media. “We weren’t given a reason except that he ‘doesn’t love me anymore’.”

Evans and Gruffudd married in 2007 and share two daughters, Ella, 11, and Elsie, 7.
On Tuesday morning, Evans claimed it was Gruffudd who took over his account and deleted his tweet.
“I haven’t deleted the tweet from a few hours ago about her leaving,” she explained. “He did it. From my account.”
Evans added: “And damn yeah when I’m enlightened and mentally tortured, so I’m going to wash my clothes in public.”
When a fan commented on Evans’ tweets, calling them “weird,” another commented, “I did the same when it happened to me. I think that’s how you recognize it doesn’t. There is no going back to what was there before. Acceptance by stating that it helps you recognize the impossibility of reconciliation. “
To which Evans replied, “That’s exactly why. And thank you. Six months of harassment: yes / no / maybe. I can’t live like this anymore.”
