Apple has started rolling out iOS 14.4 for iPhone and iPad users. While it’s not as big an update as iOS 14.3, it comes with a handful of small improvements. For starters, you’ll find a new option in the Settings menu that lets you designate the type of third-party audio devices you’ve connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth. This will help your iPhone to correctly measure your headset audio levels so that it can send alerts if you are listening to something at a level that could damage your hearing over time.
Apple has also tweaked the camera app so that it can better recognize QR codes that fall on the smaller side, and there’s a new warning if your iPhone 12’s camera components have been replaced with non-Apple parts.
