CARROT Weather 5.0 launches with a fresh design, more devious dialogue and customization options

The popular CARROT Weather app was updated today to version 5.0, introducing a number of app design and functionality upgrades, as well as a change in the pricing structure.

There’s a refreshed design that’s been updated for easier navigation, with native UI elements that better match other iOS apps, and revamped icons. A navigation bar at the bottom of the application facilitates access to the various features.

A map-based system brings up interesting weather data, such as how much rain is expected during a storm or whether it is going to be particularly windy during the day.

CARROT is smart, so it won’t load your screen with a bunch of unnecessary cards. If you open the app on a relatively calm day, you might only see sunrise / sunset and moon phase maps. But when the weather starts to turn, new maps will spring up to highlight the potential dangers: a big drop in pressure over the next 3 hours, high winds this afternoon, two inches of rain the next day.

Any map or component of the main Weather tab can be pressed or long-tapped to display a details screen that offers more weather data such as daily summaries, moon phase charts, and hourly and daily charts for each weather data point.

CARROT Weather 5.0 is more customizable than before with a built-in Maker interface tool for rearranging the Weather tab, adding new components, tweaking the design, and more, with the app being described as the most customizable weather app in the world. market.

Customization options will unlock in stages over three days of use to prevent users from being overwhelmed, and custom interfaces can be saved as presets. CARROT will also come with several predefined pre-defined options with different color and layout schemes.

The app includes over 2000 lines of new dialogue, 20 new achievements, 30 alternate app icons, eight secret locations, and more Easter eggs for you to discover.

In the future, CARROT Weather will be free to download with an optional premium subscription available. Existing customers will be able to keep all the features of the original version of the app forever and will see the current Premium Club pricing locked. Previously, the price of the app was $ 4.99 with an optional subscription, and in the future, the new version will have ads, but it will be ads for other independent apps or fake products.
