Kate Middleton wears many hats when stuck at home during the COVID-19 crisis – and cuts her hair under those hats, too.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, opened up about her life in lockdown on a recent video call with other parents and spoke about the difficulty of always pleasing her children, Prince George, 7, the Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2.
“During the lockdown, we had to take on additional roles that others in our communities or in our lives would have helped us,” she said. “I became a hairdresser this lockdown, much to the horror of my children.”
The royal may be downplaying her scissor skills. “Kate would definitely cut George and Charlotte’s hair as she is very knowledgeable and they are used to haircuts around the house,” a source told The Sun last year. “Carole Middleton taught Kate and her sister Pippa how to cook and cut children’s hair. For them, it doesn’t matter. “
Adding the insider, “George is easy. Charlotte loves her hair on her face so it’s long enough for a mini ponytail. They both have easy to cut hair.
Middleton added during this week’s video call that she “personally [feels] pulled in so many different directions ”and described parenting during the pandemic as“ exhausting ”.
