The ‘Palmer’ star appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Friday, sharing that he was in the studio recently.
Justin Timberlake has confirmed that a new album is on the horizon.
When appearing on Tonight’s Show with Jimmy Fallon On Friday, the singer, who turns 40 this weekend, was asked by the late-night host about whether to say that “a new Justin Timberlake album” was in the works, to which the singer spoke. replied, “Yeah, we can say that. There is a possibility.” Timberlake paused and added, “Let’s go with yes.”
He went on to say that he had come in and out of the studio to work on projects. Fallon said he couldn’t wait for the new music, and asked how Timberlake could be so “zen” to release tracks at the beat he wanted and not be impatient. “I sat on Mirrors since like, four or five years, ”the singer said.
“I think I’m just taking my time, maybe that’s my barometer – if I still love them that much when the time goes by, I hope people will after they hear them, when the time goes by.
Among other artists that Timberlake would like to collaborate with, he named Kendrick Lamaar and Travis Scott. “It would be a good mix,” Fallon said.
Timberlake also spoke briefly about her second child with Jessica Biel, a son named Phineas. “No one is sleeping,” he said, “but he’s so cute.”
On the actor side, Timberlake can currently be seen in Palmer on Apple TV +.
