The Ligue 1 match between Marseille and Rennes at the Stade Vélodrome on Saturday was postponed after supporters rushed to the Marseille training ground hours before kick-off to protest against club officials.
French multimedia media RMC Sport reported that 150 to 200 supporters tried to break into the Robert Louis Dreyfus center. TV footage showed fans making their way through and some were seen launching flares and lighting firecrackers.

“In view of the incidents that occurred this afternoon at the Olympique de Marseille training center, the Marseille-Stade Rennais Ligue 1 match is postponed,” the French League (LFP) said in a statement.
RMC posted footage of fans walking the streets carrying banners reading “[Club] leaders, exited ”, and others directly targeting OM President Jacques-Henri Eyraud. He then reported that the situation had calmed down, without giving details.
The entrance to the training ground was also marked with messages against Eyraud.
French sports daily L’Equipe said riot police had been deployed to deal with the incident.

OM was not immediately available for comment.
Marseille is seventh in the Ligue 1 standings, 16 points behind the leader of Lyon, coach André Villas Boas hinting that he will leave the club when his contract expires in June.
OM were eliminated in the Champions League group stage this season.
The promoted RC Lens moved up to sixth place with 34 points after securing a 2-1 victory in 11th place Montpellier.
On Sunday, Paris St Germain, second, will travel to Lorient and Lille will host Dijon, third.
