Is WandaVision teasing the arrival of Ms. Marvel and the Inhumans?

Finally, Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) will soon be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ms. Marvel is currently in production in Atlanta and is slated for release on Disney + sometime later this year. Even though the series is months away, fans of the MCU might get some early teases about the character and group of superheroes she’s most often associated with. In fact, Ms. Marvel and the Inhumans could come to life as a result of the events that will unfold during WandaVision in the next weeks.

One of the most popular theories in circulation WandaVision was the eventual introduction of the X-Men and Mutants. Understandably, given that Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) is a mutant herself, at least in the source material. This week, however, SWORD agents and scientists converge on Westview, New Jersey, hoping to learn more about WandaWorld and its causes.

This leads to a possible explanation from Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings), where she explains that Wanda’s reality is encapsulated with some type of radiance. “[There’s] A colossal amount of CMBR … Cosmic background microwave radiation … There are longer wavelengths superimposed on the noise here, “the character says.

As explained in the series, CMBR is the energy left behind from the earliest stages of the universe, created by the Big Bang. While that’s not really noticeable on its own when it comes to Inhumans, the location of this whole storyline is worth asking, at the very least.

Is it possible that when WandaWorld finally blows up, could that radiance be what empowers Khan and the other Inhumans in the region? The fictional town of Westview is located in New Jersey, and Ms. Marvel is famous for residing in Jersey City.

Granted, a geographic connection is fragile evidence in and of itself, but other MCU tidbits could back it up.

Inhumans are a race of powerful beings first introduced in Agents of SHIELD, something that the movie side of the MCU has largely avoided. In the series, they explain that Inhumans are only given powers after interacting with Terrigen, a staple of the characters, even in their comedic stories.

With Marvel Studios so far unwilling to adapt virtually any SHIELD, that might justify Kevin Feige and the corporate giveaway Kamala Khan acting differently, rather than diving head first into Terrigen’s world from the start.

The first four episodes of WandaVision now broadcast on Disney +. Ms. Marvel has yet to set a release date.
