A 29-year-old suspect who had apparently broadcast live in an apartment with a gun and two women lying on the floor was arrested on Saturday in northern California after an eight-hour confrontation with police, including SWAT staff.
Police in Vacaville, about 55 miles northeast of San Francisco, responded to the apartment complex before 1 a.m. after a woman who saw the livestream reported seeing the women standing still on the ground, reported FOX 40 in Sacramento.
After hours of fruitless negotiations with the suspect, whom police did not identify, officers used “distraction devices and chemical agents” to try to get him out of the apartment.

Officers entered the apartment around 8:30 a.m. and used a stun gun on the suspect before taking him into custody, Bay Area FOX 2 reported.
The two women on the ground were found dead, authorities said. Their causes of death have not been disclosed and they have not been identified, pending notification from the family, according to FOX 40.

The suspect had been wanted on a pending warrant for various crimes, including domestic assault and battery and assault with a deadly weapon, FOX 2 reported. It was not clear whether he will face charges. of murder.
