Heidi Klum just gave a style lesson on how to line up bold animal prints – the right way.
On Sunday, Klum – who is not afraid of bold fashion statements – shared a sweet Instagram video of herself and her husband Tom Kaulitz kissing on a bridge with their dogs. For the romantic outing, Klum stayed warm in a cozy brown plush coat.
Klum upgraded the outerwear with leopard print pants. The model then completed the look with matching platform boots. The lace-up shoes feature black inserts on the top and a chunky black outsole. Klum’s double animal print moment works because the pants and shoes are a similar shade. The patterns are also balanced by the brown coat, making the look feel more neutral.
It wouldn’t be Klum’s first time playing with prints. In November, Klum showcased a look from the ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ set, which featured a mix of two different animal prints. The show host wore a black and white zebra striped sweater with tiger print pants. Like Sunday’s look, Klum made sure the prints were in the same color family. However, this time around, she went for a bright yellow pointy heel, giving the outfit a pop of flair.
When it comes to his working style, Klum always makes a statement. In addition to frequently wearing animal prints, she also has fun with patterns and textures. One of her most standout outfits on set arrived on December 4 when Klum shared a photo of herself wearing a head-to-toe MSGM. The model opted for the brand’s Swirly Heart Intarsia sweater, which is on sale for $ 291 on Farfetch.com and MSGM’s Venus Flytrap midi skirt for $ 203 on Neimanmarcus.com. On his feet, Klum sported the brand’s knee-high point-toe boots. The boots, which are in leather and feature a buckle detail at the foot, are available for $ 567 at Farfetch.com.
