Black Ops Cold War is finally on the verge of getting a new Zombies map, but the leak of 2 more maps could confirm the start of Season 2.
Since its launch, Black Ops Cold War Zombies fans have been lacking in content a bit. Besides Cranked and Jingle Hells modes, Treyarch’s latest Zombies mode has been somewhat overlooked this time around.
But that is all about to change, as Firebase Z joins Die Maschine on the Cold War roster in a few days. The second map looks like an incredibly interesting place, with a lot of new content to explore.
And what’s more, there may be 2 more Cold War Zombie maps to come, as fans speculate on a new leak.
These cards were first teased in the official Firebase Z trailer, but you’ll have to look closely to spot them.
Black Ops Cold War Zombie Card Game in the United States?
Thanks to the new information revealed in Firebase Z, we know the location of 2 new Zombie maps. One is a previously leaked Cold War location in Berlin, and the other zombie map may well be in the United States.
During the trailer, just as the Ether Reactor goes dark, a map is visible on the wall monitors. And as YouTuber TheGamingRevolution points out, there are a few flashing lights to see.
These locations are both labeled as “identified outbreak areas,” which appears to confirm that these are upcoming map locations.
We’ve actually seen teases like this before, as a similar card in the Die Maschine intro and the Cold War Zombies menu points to an outbreak in Berlin as well.

Given the location of Berlin’s red dot, fans actually think we know what will happen in the Cold War soon. Many users are predicting that Black Ops Cold War Zombies will get a Kino Der Toten remake as a DLC.
Of course, this Kino der Toten will likely use the old location and expand it, much like Die Maschine did with Nacht der Untoten. Either way, we’re excited to see what happens to this leak.
Hopefully this new card will come with another new miracle weapon like the RAI K-84 from Firebase Z.
Black Ops Zombies of the Cold War Alcatraz Leak?
However, the other location on the map is definitely in North America, with fans speculating it would be in San Francisco. This could confirm that Cold War Zombies is heading to Alcatraz in a future update.
This location has already appeared in Blackout, Treyarch’s attempt at battle royale mode. It wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine that the location could return, in undead survival mode.
As for when these 2 new Zombies maps could be released, TheGamingRevolution points out something interesting. At the end of a recent blog post, Treyarch pointed out big plans for Zombies in Season 2.

With that in mind, we may well see both cards come out in the coming season. After all, Cold War Season 1 brought us multiple zombie locations, and Season 2 seems to be picking up dramatically.
However, with a Cold War Zombies player crashing recently in round 506, we’re hoping the new maps will be more stable than Die Maschine.
In the past, Treyarch has confirmed a new Zombies map in Cold War Season 2. However, it’s also possible the developer is talking about Firebase Z, which has been pushed forward.
