Yakuza spinoff judgment heads to next-gen consoles on April 23

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Judgment is getting the next-gen treatment on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S on April 23, Sega announced today. It will ship with all previously released DLC for $ 39.99.

A Yakuza game in everything except the name, Judgment follows Takayuki Yagami as he weaves his way through the fictional streets of the famous local franchise Kamurocho.

When Judgment first came to the west in 2019, KotakuLuke Plunkett had shared feelings about the game, praising its “nicer, sweeter, more intimate” version on the Yakuza formula while finding problems with its investigative gameplay.

Judgment would run at 60 fps on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S and take advantage of the platforms’ more powerful hardware for faster load times.
