The national college football signing day in February has arrived.
Although the NCAA has declared a dead period amid the COVID-19 pandemic since last March, meaning recruits have not been able to make official visits, recruiting has proceeded normally. The early signing period in December has come and gone, and now the regular signing period is taking place.
Wednesday is the last day high school rookies can sign their national letters of intent to lock them up at the colleges of their choice.
Most ESPN 300 prospects put pen to paper in early December. Of the top 300 leads, 10 are engaged but haven’t signed, and 11 are unenged and unsigned.
“College Football Live: Signature Day Special” airs Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
We’ll keep you up to date with news, analysis, highlights, updated class rankings and more over the coming days.
