Julien Baker shared another track from his next album, Little oversights. “Favor” features the backing vocals of her boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers. Watch the lyric video, directed by Sabrina Nichols, below.
“We sang on ‘Favor’ in Nashville the same day we recorded vocals for ‘Graceland Too’ and one of my songs,” Dacus said in a press release. “That day had the same vibe as when we recorded the boygenius EP.
Bridgers added, “Julien is one of those people whose opinion you want to hear about everything. A true critical thinker with an ever-changing and ridiculously articulate worldview. Her music changes the same way, and this record is my favorite thing she’s ever made. I am sure I will think the same for the next one.
“Favor” is the third track to come out of Little oversights, which arrives on February 26 via Matador. Baker previously shared the songs “Hardline” and “Faith Healer”.
