Game files for GoldenEye 007 Rare’s canceled Remaster have been shared on the Internet The remaster, originally slated for release on Xbox 360 via XBLA but ultimately canceled due to a rights issue, has come to everyone’s attention last month via a video showing a full playthrough. It runs at 60 frames per second and can be played at 4K, which is a leap beyond the capabilities of the Xbox 360 console it was designed for.In the remaster’s YouTube video, downloader Graslu00 says they were told that the game might be released in some form to the public in 2021. It looks like the release has come very quickly.

Playing this version requires the use of an emulator or a modified Xbox 360, so it’s important to note that anyone looking to search for the files will be in some murky legal waters, not to mention the fact that the game has them. -even probably fled from the inside.
