The New England Patriots have not lost at home this season yet, but Ray Lewis thinks it will change Sunday afternoon.
The Patriots will be assigned a difficult client during the 13th week of the Minnesota Vikings welcome at Gillette Stadium. The two teams have just won impressive victories in their divisions, with New England sending the New York Jets quite easily, while Minnesota defeating Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
At the Tuesday edition of "Inside the NFL" on SHOWTIME, Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis chose the Vikings to come out of Foxboro, Mass, with a win. Although most people consider the fierce Vikings' defense to be the key to victory, Lewis has his eyes on another game changer.
"… This team, as it was built, can go to New England. And one of Dalvin Cook's biggest assets is amazing. What they do in the group of seven in defense is amazing. After defeating Dalvin Cook against the defense of New England, I will face the Vikings. "
While the Vikings could very well defeat the Patriots, Lewis's reason seems a little behind. The races did not have any tonne New England wins this season, with the Pats only allowing an impressive 100-yard performance – a 101-yard win by Kerryon Johnson of the Detroit Lions in Week 3.
At least Minnesota will probably be successful against New England by air. The Patriots have allowed the eighth most yards passing this season and the Vikings boast one of the deadliest tandems among Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Cook, of course, is an excellent receiver, so quarterback Kirk Cousins could look great too.
All in all, the defense of New England will have his hands full on December 2nd.
