A spokesperson for the potential governor of the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, wants Twitter to know that his boss is responding to interview requests and not trying to announce important news on TikTok – unlike the incumbent, according to some critics.

Newsom, which has been criticized for transparency concerns, did not respond to multiple Fox News requests for comment on the recall effort and other stories. Newsom’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on this story on Saturday.
