Call of Duty: Cold War Black Ops Developer Treyarch tweaked a recent change to how fast players move when landing from a jump.
The change – which was implemented as part of the February 4 update – came as an attempt to curb “jumps,” which allows veteran players to move quickly and even aim even after jumped up.
Although the developer has revealed only a day later that he “would continue to monitor this change in the live environment and make further tuning changes as necessary”, earlier today he tweaked it further, this time confirming that he had “slightly reduced” the penalties.

Black Ops Cold War was released on November 13, 2020, which is standard Call of Duty practice, so the next title in the Call of Duty franchise will likely launch in a similar time frame this year – around the holidays, of course. .
