According to a report by Pwinsider, the lawsuit against Randy Orton and 2K Games regarding the use of Orton’s tattoos has a new trial date. After multiple delays, the new trial date is set for September 20, 2021 at 9 a.m. in the US District Court Southern District of Illinois (East St. Louis). Originally, the date was set for February 16 before being pushed back to September.

Tattoo artist Catherine Alexander filed a complaint with WWE & Take-Two Interactive (2K Games, 2K Spots, Visual Concepts Entertainment, YUKES Co) for the use of Orton’s tattoos, which were of her design. The editors used the designs for Orton’s likeness in the game and did not get his permission. These tattoos include tribal tattoos on Orton’s forearm, a bible verse on his arm, a dove, a rose, and a skull.
