Elizabeth Hurley doesn’t let the cold winter put her off.
The 55-year-old British model and actress took to social media on Sunday to wrap up her “so-called vacation”, where she posted a photo of herself in a swimsuit daily in order to cope with pandemic boredom.
Sporting nothing but a lime green bikini from her Elizabeth Hurley Beach swimwear line and a pair of sunglasses, Hurley bathed in the sun in the photo on Sunday. The star was shown sipping a glass of champagne in front of the scenic blue waters.
“Alas, my #vacation is supposedly coming to an end; it’s time to get back to the mud and fog of my dear Herefordshire. Fingers crossed, it will snow so it will be bikini time again. Just enough time to have a glass of chilled champagne before packing, ”she wrote, with the hashtags“ stay home ”and“ live through my film ”.
Hurley kicked off the fake vacation last month, promising 10 straight days of bikini photos.
“Pretend vacation!” Hurley wrote. “I’m so sick of being home, pretending to be away and vicariously living through my film for the next 10 days.”
The first pic featured Hurley, sporting another bikini from her swimwear line, as she lifted her leg and framed across a sandy beach in a throwback photo.
Ahead of her “mock vacation,” Hurley received backlash after posting a particularly sassy photo of herself without a top, which Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has been described as “thirsty” and “scary”.
The negative reaction to Hurley’s scorching snaps mirrors some responses to stars like Salma Hayek and Paulina Porizkova, also known for their frequent bikini photos. So what is the root of hostility towards celebs who celebrate happily?
