Pokémon Go Roselia Community Day Guide: Start Times & Best Moves

[ad_1]

Pokémon Go is hosting a Roselia Community Day on February 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at your local time.

Roselia’s evolution, Roserade, is the best grass-type Pokémon in the game for raiding, so it’s worth picking out a few while its spawn rate is increased. As with other Community Days, Roselia’s Shiny rate will also be increased, making it easier to find one.

Budew, the baby form of Roselia, will also hatch two kilometers of eggs. Budew cannot be found in the wild, so if you want one you will need to hatch it from an egg.

How do you find a shiny Roselia?

Since Roselia will appear everywhere, just tap on every Roselia you see until you get a shiny one. You’ll find one sooner or later, as the Community Days shine rate is increased to around one in 24.

A comparison between Shiny Budew, Roselia and Roserade. Shiny Budew's bib is purple instead of green, Shiny Roselia flowers are blue and black instead of red and blue, and Shiny Roserade flowers are purple and black instead of red and blue.

What special movement does Roserade learn?

When evolved on February 7 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Roserade will learn Weather Ball and Bullet Seed. None of these moves are particularly good for raids and gyms, but they diversify Roserade’s move set for PvP content.

How to make the most of this community day?

During the event, all eggs placed in incubators will have their hatching distance reduced to 14 the usual amount. Make sure to hatch any long distance eggs you have.

Once you have your Roserade, configure it with Razor foil and Clod of grass to have a hard-hitting type of grass. It’s definitely worth racking up a few to form a strong team.

If you decide which Shiny Roselia to evolve at the end of the day, try using one of the new search strings. Sort your “mons by”recent“Using the icon at the bottom right, then type”4 *»In the search box at the top. This will let you know if you have 100% IV Roselia. Most people won’t be that lucky, so then you’ll want to type “3 *”In the search box, which will show you all recent mons of 80% or more. Rate them to see which one is better, then evolve your new buddy!
