The CBS All Access app appeared to be having issues as users tried to watch Super Bowl LV on Sunday. Users reported seeing an error message stating that reading the application was “having technical difficulties” and an “error has occurred”.
Down Detector showed a spike in complaints for CBS All Access around 6 p.m. ET on Sunday. Many users were complaining on Twitter that they couldn’t see the game at all.
Todd Spangler from Variety reported shortly after 7 p.m. ET that CBS was advising its subscribers that the issues were resolved and to restart the app.
CBS All Access crashed all around #Super Bowl Kick-off time, he now tells subscribers “The reported technical issues with the service have been resolved, please restart your CBS All Access app and you can now return to streaming.

It was the worst time for the app to go down as the Super Bowl between Kansas City and Tampa Bay began.
Update: February 7, 7:18 p.m. ET: Adds that the app should work for most users.
