It’s official: Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley are getting married.
A source close to the couple confirmed to People that Woodley, 29, is the fiancée of Rodgers, 37, just days after the Green Bay Packers quarterback revealed he was engaged.
“They are very happy together,” the source told the magazine. “It’s no surprise that he came up so quickly. When you know, you know, right?
Rodgers revealed he was engaged over the weekend while accepting this year’s Most Valuable Player award in NFL honors, but did not confirm at the time who the lucky lady was.
“It’s an honor to win this award for the third time. 2020 has definitely been a crazy year, filled with changes, growth, amazing and memorable moments. 180 consecutive days of scratching nose hair. Playing for very few fans or no pits all season, I got engaged and played some of the best football of my career, ”said Rodgers.
But his exciting announcement came right after reports he was dating the ‘Big Little Lies’ actress, leading many to speculate the duo are heading down the aisle.
Rodgers broke up with his girlfriend Danica Patrick in July after two years of dating. He previously dated actress Olivia Munn from 2014 to 2017.
Meanwhile, Woodley was romantically linked with rugby player Ben Volavola.
Their representatives did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
