Katy Perry’s baby girl is already living up to her astrological sign!
The 36-year-old pop star gushed about her five-month-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, and revealed she struggled to return to work after giving birth, during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan on Monday.
Perry has been joined virtually by fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan to promote the final season of American Idol – which is casually hosted by Ryan Seacrest, Kelly and Ryan.

After just a few months as new parents, Katy told the daytime show hosts that she and her fiance Orlando Bloom already have Daisy on a set schedule.
“Yeah, sure there’s a routine,” Katy said. “My daughter is a Virgo and she thrives on routine.
While the couple are absolutely in love with their bundle of joy, as a first-time mom, it hasn’t been easy for Perry to get back to work so quickly after having the baby.
“I started filming season 4 of American Idol after giving birth, five weeks later,” the singer explained. And I didn’t plan that. But it was like, “Oh, my God!” It was so intense, you know?
“Yeah, sure there’s a routine,” Katy said. “My daughter is a Virgo and she thrives on routine.

Kelly Ripa, who is the mother of 19-year-old Lola, 23-year-old Michael and 17-year-old Joaquin, knows a thing or two about being a working mom and was immediately linked to what Perry was saying.
“It’s pretty amazing,” she joked. “It’s like you can’t believe what your body is capable of, right?
In a recent Q&A to promote her limited-edition can of Coca-Cola, Katy explained even more how her life has changed since becoming a mom.
“It’s pretty amazing,” joked mother of three Kelly Ripa. “It’s like you can’t believe what your body is capable of, right?
“I think you realize that when you become a mom… you just have to focus on being a mom,” she says. And just because you don’t like other people, it’s not because of anything else that you just want to be a great mom.
“ So a lot of things go away when you become a mom and it’s the best job in the world. I highly recommend it when you are ready.
The star who has been part of the American Idol family since her ABC reboot in 2018 is gearing up for another season of the long-running singing competition.
Katy, Lionel, Luke and host Ryan Seacrest will be taking new COVID-19 security measures for this season’s installment of the popular ABC contest.

Judges will sit at tables six feet apart and follow official social distancing guidelines.
Instead of the crew traveling across the country to meet with potential candidates, candidates will be airlifted to one of three locations in California.
