While all members who were locked out to work remotely will have their access restored and any disciplinary action dismissed, the executive does not guarantee back pay for days of the lockout. And while the CPS agreed to drop parent communications cases only if formal disciplinary action had not yet been issued, it did not agree to dismiss 55 communication-related cases in which members had already received official disciplinary notices, according to the CTU. While the union is committed to continuing to fight these cases through grievances, arbitration or other legal means, members like Quezada want more justice for their colleagues.
