Russell wilson is frustrated with the Seahawks. Apparently the feeling is mutual. Seahawks officials are “not happy” that Wilson is making his grievances public, sources told radio host Dan Patrick (Twitter link via BBC Sports’ Rob Staton). 
Earlier this week Wilson appeared on Patrick’s show and expressed frustration at the Seahawks’ inability to protect him. During his career, Wilson has been sacked 394 times with more than 40 sacks in each season since his rookie year.
“I was definitely touched. I have been fired almost 400 times. We need to improveWilson said. “I also have to find ways to improve myself. Just keep trying to find it. As we continue to go through the process and think about my career and what I want to be able to do, it always starts up front, offensively and defensively.. “
The Seahawks gave Wilson a brand new deal less than two years ago. With an average annual value of $ 35 million / year, he is the third highest paid player in the NFL. So far, the Seahawks have turned down business inquiries and, unlike the Texans, have included their franchise quarterback in staffing decisions.
It’s still hard to imagine the Seahawks going their separate ways with Wilson, but given this year’s quarterback carousel, anything is possible.
