NBA All-Star Vote: Klay Thompson Rises, Steph Curry Still Leading

[ad_1]

The second fan feedback for the NBA All-Star Vote was released on Thursday morning.

And to anyone’s surprise, Steph Curry (4,033,050 votes) is still No. 1 among all guards and third overall behind LeBron James (4,369,533) and Kevin Durant (4,234,433).

But there was one result that we didn’t expect to see.

Klay Thompson – who has been out all season with a torn right Achilles tendon – rose to 8th overall in the Western Conference guards after registering to 10th last week.

This is yet another sign of how much the “Splash Brother” is loved by Warriors fans and the basketball world in general.

As for Curry, he’s averaged 34.6 points, 5.4 assists and 5.1 rebounds in his last seven games, while shooting 57.3% overall, 52.4% from depth and 94, 6% line of free throws.

Steve Kerr and Draymond Green believe he is playing the best basketball of his career, and Kent Bazemore has called Steph “the best basketball player right now”.

The All-Star Vote ends at 8:59 p.m. PT on February 16, with starters announced two days later.

The All-Star Game takes place on March 7 in Atlanta.
